  1. Warranty claims can be made only on goods that have been purchased from the seller and are owned by the buyer.
  2. If the ownership right has not yet been transferred from the seller to the buyer, in accordance with valid legislation, the buyer can apply for a claim only after full compensation under § 151 of the Slovakian Civil Code.
  3. If the buyer is a consumer (a person who does not act on behalf of his/hers employer, business or professional occupation) a guarantee of 24 months is provided for all goods, unless it is otherwise stated with the goods and the claim is processed according to the Consumer Protection Act and Civil Code of Slovakia. If the buyer is not a consumer, the claim is processed in accordance with the provisions of the Commercial Code of Slovakia and the warranty period is 2 years. The warranty period begins on the date the goods are received from the shipping company or when the goods are taken directly from the seller in person on the day of their handover.
  4. The buyer is obliged to apply for a warranty claim without delay to the seller immediately after a defect is discovered.
  5. The warranty does not apply to products with damaged serial number and therefore it is not possible to determine the date of their acquisition (time of the warranty period).
  6. Liability for defects is not applicable to defects caused by the following use cases:
    1. The defect is caused by mechanical damage done to the product by the buyer.
    2. Incorrect use of the product in a manner other than specified in the instructions manual.
    3. Use of the products in conditions which do not correspond with their moisture, temperature, chemical and mechanical parameters to the natural environment specified for the products.
    4. Use of the products in violation of the conditions specified in the documentation, general principles, technical standards or safety regulations or other breach of warranty conditions.
    5. Any tampering or modification of product construction.
  7. Defects resulting from natural disasters are also excluded from the liability for defects.
  8. Returned products must be sent to our address (not with cash on delivery) or delivered in person. The products must be packaged appropriately so that they are not damaged during transport and we recommend that the products be sent by registered mail or as an insured package. You need to attach a copy of the purchase receipt (invoice) to the products and we recommend that you add a filled in warranty claim form. Warranty claims must be sent in writing (by post), personally or by e-mail.
  9. The seller will confirm the acceptance of the claim and will give the buyer a warranty claim receipt for the products in an appropriate form. The date of the warranty claim is the date when the seller has received the claim. If it is not possible to deliver the warranty claim receipt immediately, it must be delivered without undue delay, but at the latest with the warranty settlement document. The warranty claim receipt will be delivered in writing.
  10. The seller is required to determine how the claim will be settled immediately, in complex cases within 3 days of the date of the claim. After determining the way in which the claim will be handled, the seller will settle the claim immediately, in justified cases the claim can be settled later. Settling the the claim however may not be longer than 30 days from the date of the claim. After the 30-day deadline for claim settlement, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract and will be reimbursed the full amount for the goods or has the right to exchange the goods for new ones.
  11. Buyer's rights when applying for a warranty claim:
    1. In the case of a fixable defect, the buyer has the right for the fix to be done free of charge, correctly and in a timely manner. The way of fixing the defect will be decided by the seller.
    2. In the event of an unfixable defect that prevents the proper use of the item for the given purpose, the buyer has the right either to exchange the item or to withdraw from the purchase contract (reimbursement of money).
    3. The warranty claim is deemed to be settled if the claim procedure is finished by handing over the claimed goods, exchanging them or by returning the purchase price of the goods, this will contain a written request to accept the delivery, reimbursement or a reasoned refusal of the claim.
  12. No damage to the goods i.e. the packaging integrity (according to the pick up instructions for the goods) should be checked when the goods are received, as the goods may be damaged during transport, we recommend that the buyer unpacks the goods and inspects it in the presence of the courier. By putting your signature on the courier's delivery form you declare that the packaging was undamaged.
  13. These return policy conditions are an inseparable part of the terms and conditions and the seller reserves the right to change them at any time even without a prior notice to the buyer.
